Join Thor and Nick Page on a unique camping, hiking and landscape photography workshop in Iceland.
We will cover some of the most beautiful locations in Iceland with possible visits into the highlands, however the main driving force behind our itinerary will be the Icelandic weather forecast.

An overview:
On this 8 day adventure with Nick Page and Thor we will be travelling in Iceland but unlike most regular workshops we will not have a set itinerary. This tour is lightweight and agile. The main driving force behind our itinerary will be the Icelandic weather forecast. We can go anywhere, any time!
Dates are set just after the summer solstice so midnight sun is something you‘ll experience during your stay. At this time, it will not get dark so our main shooting time will be very late evening through to the early morning. We will reverse our sleeping cycle and rest during midday.
By reversing the hours, we gain two very important things; much better light and locations without the crowds. This will ensure you get the best shot possible. We can be photographing the most popular locations in Iceland and have the entire place to ourselves.
Our tentative plan is to do the ring road with possible visits into the highland, however the main driving force behind our itinerary will be the Icelandic weather forecast.
This workshop is covering some of the best areas in the Iceland, but since the weather can be changeable in Iceland we try our best to keep one step ahead and plan our locations accordingly.
In this workshop we will be travelling in two 4x4 cars (mini van and SUV) and the group is limited to 10 clients, which gives us the freedom to be very flexible.
What´s included in the Workshop price:
2 nights at hotel (at beginning and end of the workshop)

All camping fees and entrance fees
On location instruction from 2 professional photographers

What´s NOT included in the Workshop:
Travel and equipment insurance
Visas
International travel to and from Iceland
Overweight and additional baggage
Food, drinks and other personal expense
Camping gear (we can help out with renting a gear for you)
Hotels prior and/or post the workshop
Fitness level:
This workshop will include some moderate to difficult hikes on uneven ground and loose gravel.
You need to be able to carry your own equipment during the hikes, which some are up steep hills.
Note: we do not aim for more than 1 - 2 hour hikes for each location.
Logistics:
Arrival day is 7th July 2020 – Hotel included, transfer from airport to hotel arranged by participant.
We will pick you up at your hotel in Keflavík on the morning of the 8th of July 2020.
We will provide all cooking utilities such as BBQ, chairs, cutlery etc.
You will be responsible for your own camping gear (you can either bring your own or we can help you with renting equipment in Iceland)
You will be responsible for your own food. - We will have opportunities to eat on the road and on other occasions we will have a BBQ at the chosen campsite of the day. There will be opportunities for buying groceries every day.
Last day on the road is 13th June – Hotel included.
Departure day is 14th July 2020. Transfer from hotel to airport, arranged by participant.
Payment information:
Tuition: $2900 per person
Deposit: $1450
To reserve a spot a $1450 non-refundable deposit* must be paid upon registration and final payment by
15th April 2020
Minimum 8 participants is needed for this workshop to take place so please do not book your flight until we have confirmed them minimum has been reached.
*If we do not meet the minimum number of participants and must cancel the workshop, you will of course be fully refunded.
Cancellation and refund policy:
Refunds: If we do not meet the minimum number of participants and need to cancel, you will of course be fully refunded.
All cancellations are subject to a minimum of a $150 service charge.
In addition, if you cancel and your spot is otherwise filled, you will be refunded the full amount you have paid (minus the $150 service charge). However if you cancel and your spot is not filled, the following fee schedule applies:
90 days or more: full refund minus $150 fee
60 days to 90 days: 50% refund
Less than 60 days: no refund
Refunds will be paid in the same method that the original payment was made.
Refunds will be initiated within 72 hours of the time that the request is approved.
