Day 2 (Saturday, July 13 8:00 - 5:00)

We'll kick off around 8am with highly focused sessions where we dive deep into focused techniques as well as photo walk-throughs.

Nick and Greg will be alternating leading focused segments honing in on particular techniques with landscape and cityscape images. We will cover topics such as exposure blending, shutter speed stacking, focal length blending, dodging and burning, etc to help fully develop your workflow. Each session will allow time for Q&A.

There will be opportunities for 1:1 or small group coaching and critique outside the main session to help deal with more specific questions.

We'll start back up around 8am and continue with a similar presentation style/Q&A from Saturday.

Our official schedule ends at 4:30pm to allow for flights home.

** Note our schedule is timed such that you can shoot sunrise and sunset in Seattle on your own or with other attendees on both Saturday and Sunday.

Who is this For?

Landscape and cityscape photographers at an intermediate skill level with Photoshop who are looking to take their post-processing to the next level. We welcome ALL levels of photography experience, but recommend that you have some basic familiarity with layers and layer masks in Photoshop to make the most of the workshop. Instruction will include Lightroom / Camera RAW, Photoshop, Lumenzia, Nik, and potentially some other related software packages. Lumenzia is not required for the workflows we will be teaching, but some panel or actions to be able to create luminosity masks/selections is recommended. If you do not have such a tool, you may wish to use Greg's free luminosity masking panel/actions.

How many people is this limited to?

Attendance is limited to 50 participants.

Where is the workshop located?

The workshop will be held entirely at the Marriott Seattle Airport.

Where should I stay?

Rooms are available at the Seattle Marriott Airport (3201 S 176th St, Seattle, WA), as well as numerous hotels nearby.

Please contact the Marriott at (206) 241-2000 and mention our conference for 10% off their best room rates, subject to availability.

What if I want to share a room?

You will have access to a private Facebook group where you can connect with other attendees to help find a roommate.

I'm driving, where can I park?

The Marriott offers onsite self-parking for $14 per vehicle and $28 for overnight, plus tax.

What are the expected weather conditions?

While we will not be shooting as a group, you may wish to consider an excursion on your own. Sunrise for July 12th is 5:24am, sunset 9:05pm. Typical temps are 57-74F. July is the driest month of the year for Seattle, with an average of 3 days of rain.

What should I bring?

Your laptop, so that you may edit alongside us as we process the images. We will not be doing any shooting as part of the workshop, but you may wish to consider extending your trip to Seattle or one of the many beautiful landscape locations within a few hours of Seattle.
