This Image was captured south of the Antarctic Circle off the the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula. The ocean was just below freezing which allowed the sea ice to break into a mosaic of tiles, offering an appropriate foreground for the peaks and glaciers of Antarctica. This is a moment in my life that i will ever forget. Watching the mountains and glaciers drift by with totally calm seas at their feet.
