Palouse Falls Eruption

I captured this image very early in my photography journey. I had only been taking photos for about a year and a half when I happened to find myself at Palouse Falls on this epic night. To this date, this is still the most impressive sunset I have ever witnessed. I have gone back and reprocessed the images time after time. And I have finally landed on this edit. I call this Palouse Falls Eruption, because the light that night, literally erupted across the sky, and only lasted for a few brief minutes. I have intentionally left the lone photographer in the frame on the right hand side to give scale to the massive cliffs surrounding Palouse Falls.
